What is Montessori
Developed in the early 1900's by Dr. Maria Montessori, the Montessori approach emphasizes learning through all five senses, not just by hearing through the act of listening, or seeing by observing and reading.
How to Enroll
Empower your child's future with our dynamic program that drives excellence and innovation in education. Discover a world where performance meets potential, pushing every student to reach new heights.
As a New Hampshire State Charter School, Mill Falls receives less than HALF of the average funding that most traditional public schools receive. In order to make up this funding gap we need your help, along with help from community partners, charitable foundations, and other supporters.
Help Mill Falls
Bringing the unique, individualized, and academically integrated Montessori approach into the New Hampshire public school system provides an ideal opportunity for K-6th grade children of all backgrounds and learning styles in Southern New Hampshire.
Mill Falls students are united in mixed-age classrooms to learn with — and from — each other about the world and their place in it. This inspires a sense of connectedness and foster the values of peace and respect for others and our planet.

Middle School Expansion Plan
In the spring of 2025, Mill Falls received a competitive federal Charter School Program (CSP) Expansion Grant in support of the development of a future Mill Falls Middle School. Work is well underway developing our unique project-based curriculum that will weave together our Montessori model with state and national standards.
